Xpax Fantasy Fest 2015 returned for a second time this year in StarXpo, Kenanga Wholesale City (KWC), Jalan Gelugor for two days on 28 and 29 November. A colourful event filled with cosplay, gaming, comics and more; the event was opened to the public and people were also given a chance to register for Xpax's MAGIC SIM card.
"The festival is an outlet for one to explore and express their creativity, including showcasing their skills in gaming, cosplay and anime. It gives them an opportunity to escape from their daily livs and share their thought and experience with the community. We invite everyone, both existing and new Magic SIM customers to share and experience this unique festival, with only having to purchase or reload with the RM5 starter pack during the event.” said Zalman Aefendy Zainal Abidin, Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer of Celcom Axiata Berhad.
One of the main highlights of the event, was the cosplay competition which was divided into two categories - solo and group. The cosplayers were judged by a panel of international celebrity cosplayers such as Misa (Taiwan), Naielle (Brazil) and Masazi (Japan). All cosplayers who participated stood a chance to win cash and prizes totaling up to RM10000, and the winner in the solo category will win a four day three night trip to Osaka Japan to Animax Music event and city tour.

Besides that, new and old MAGIC SIM customers had the chance to participate and play games like the Virtual Reality 360, Purikura (free photo taking and digital print out), enjoy free Naruto Favourite Ramen (first 200 only), enjoy a 10% discount on Dota 2 card, gaming peripherals in thunder match outlets until end of Dec sponsored by TMTonline, stand a chance to Meet and Greet with International and local AnimeSong Artistes, having the VIP treatment on an express lane during the celebrity cosplayer’s photo opportunity and autograph session. Perhaps the best of all for them, was a lucky draw with a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
A truly joyous day for everyone, everyone who were there enjoyed purchasing collectible games and attending workshop sessions by international artistes and local developers (about game animation and digital art). A Street Fighter V demo was also available there, so were Dota 2 tournaments, FIFA 16, Rocket League, Trading Card games (players who joined the tournament also had the chance to win RM10000 in cash and prizes).
