So out of nowhere, Apple just announced another event that will happen on the 18th of October 2021. Heading into the Apple Malaysia website, the livestream Apple Event will start at 1 AM on 19 October which can be viewed on the website or the Apple TV app.
What is Apple planning to showcase this time? Under the theme "Unleased", there is a good chance that a new lineup of redesigned MacBook Pros with a new M1X chipset as well as a new generation of AirPods. Also, sources say that this may be the first MacBook Pro revamp in five years.
How so? MacBook Pros are typically made for content creators, the M1X chipset should offer improved performance from the already stellar M1 chipset. The Touch Bar could be removed as well due to the unpopularity of the feature. Moreover, the MagSafe charging connector and HDMI port could be back as well.
As for the AirPods, there are some rumours that these new wireless earphones could have an Active Noise Cancellation function. We don't think the design would have many changes but a shorter stem may be possible. The wireless charging case may look different too but we shall see.
