As per tradition, Apple would often release new generations of iPads and MacBooks during spring in the US. According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg in his newsletter, the first mini-Apple event could start in March or April as usual. Here's what we can expect from Apple's next move.

As reported by sources, there could be a new iPad Air and iPad Pro. Starting with the iPad Air first, it could likely be powered by an M2 chip, coming in 10.9 or 12.9 inches, a redesigned rear camera module, and supporting WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. As for the iPad Pro, it should use an M3 chip and could be the first iPad lineup to use an 11 or 13-inch OLED display. MagSafe wireless charging is expected and its Magic Keyboard could be redesigned.

Next, there could be a few MacBook Air laptops with the M3 chip in 13 and 15 inches. Gurman also said there shouldn't be a lot of changes for the 2024 MacBook Air, except for supporting WiFi 6E connectivity. With the M3 on board, the MacBook Air will be able to support ray tracing and mesh shading, further improving graphics rendering in games.

Gurman usually has a good tracking record but we still have to wait and see Apple's official announcement. Until then, stay tuned for more news at TechNave.com.
