A new TikTok Photos app might be just around the corner

When it comes to a photo app, people automatically think of Instagram as the go-to platform to check out friends' and families' photos. While there are also other platforms, they aren't as popular but TikTok may challenge the norm.

According to AssembleDebug, there are a couple of code texts hidden on the TikTok app that suggest it. It appears to be launching "soon" and TikTok users can synchronize photo posts between their account and the new TikTok photos app. The code also suggests that the system will prompt the users to share their photo posts as a pop-up message in the app.

The information is quite straightforward as it's evident on the whole text strings. It reads "TikTok Photos will be launched soon, we hope to help you gain new audiences in the new app. If the switch is on, we'll sync your public photos to the new app, whether you close the pop-up or not". On top of that, the TikTok Photos app is also shown as seen in the screenshot above.

TikTok Photos is likely to launch on the Apple App and Google Play Store, but there are no signs of a web version. We also don't know which region will get it first. Until then, we just have to wait and see from TikTok.
