While we patiently wait for the honor 7X to hit the stores on 12 December 2017, we are getting some rumours that the honor V10 which will appear in China first, is going to be accompanied by an honor 9 Youth Edition on 28 November 2017. According to sources, the Youth Edition looks exactly the same as the honor 9 but with lower tech-specs.
As reported from the 3C certification, the Youth Edition will be featuring a Kirin 659 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a 16:9 screen-to-body ratio. While the main camera is using a 13MP sensor, the front gets a pair of 13MP + 2MP sensor which we assume to function as a bokeh effect specializer. The body design is as shiny as its predecessor and will come in Obsidian Black, Sea Blue, Pearl White and Seagull Gray.

On the other hand, some new tech-specs rumour of the honor V10 showed up in Geekbench showing that it will come with EMUI 8.0 out of the box. The rest of the specs tally well with the previous rumours, using an octa-core Kirin 970 processor, 6GB of RAM and even has the NPU chip just like the latest Mate 10 series.
It's unfortunate that the honor 9 is probably never coming to Malaysia, but maybe the Youth Edition will? Fingers crossed for that one, stay tuned for more honor news at TechNave.com.
