On the scale of 1-10, how much do you miss your flip phone devices? Well, Samsung unexpectedly made a new hybrid flip smartphone and it is finally revealed as the Leader 8 (SM-G9298) in China. No price or availability available yet, though, but we do have the tech-specs so check it out below.

- Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB internal storage (expandable memory available)
- Measuring 130.2 x 62.6 x 15.9mm, weighs 253g
- 12MP rear camera (f/1.7) | 5MP front camera (f/1.9)
- Features wireless charging, Samsung Pay, fingerprint scanner, Always-On display, Secure Folder, a multi-function configurable hotkey and S Voice
- 2300mAh battery

For a flip smartphone, the specifications aren't too bad and the body material is made out of aviation-grade aluminium alloy, which explains the 253g weight. Although it a few nice features like wireless charging and Samsung pay, Bixby is not featured on the device but that's understandable because, at the moment, Bixby only works in English and South Korean language.
If this phone made it to Malaysia, would you get it for the sake of nostalgia? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more Samsung news at TechNave.com.
