For a while, a high amount of rumours have suggested that Apple may have ditched the mini model for the iPhone 14 series. However, a new piece of rumour news is saying otherwise, claiming that the iPhone 14 mini is still coming.
The leak came from none other than @evleaks and this leakster has a solid reputation for accurate information prior to phone launches. On 91mobiles.com, a top-tier Apple channel partner in the Asia-Pacific region is preparing a list of upcoming Apple devices. Oddly, the iPhone 14 mini appears inside.
Could it be just a mistake? Indeed perhaps. But we have to keep in mind that this unnamed channel partner is one of the largest distributors in the market so it's a big error if it is really a blooper. On the other hand, having an iPhone 14 mini goes against the consistent reports from analysts and insiders, such as Ming-Chi Kuo who is known for providing solid information.
Besides the iPhone 14 mini, the other Apple devices that we can see in the list are the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro max, iPad 10.2 (10th Gen), iPad Pro 12.9 (6th Gen), and the iPad Pro 11 (4th Gen). Also, Apple doesn't really share any promotional details with its partners before any major launches.
