A very first look at vivo's first folding smartphone, vivo X Fold

Just yesterday, vivo had finally confirmed that its first folding smartphone is launching on 11 April. Today, thanks to two tipsters, we are able to have the very first look at the upcoming vivo X Fold before it arrives.

Abhishek Yadav and Sam are the ones who shared some images and a promo video with us. As you can clearly see in the images below, the vivo X Fold will sport a giant rectangular camera module on the rear, housing another circular module inside that stores four camera lenses. It also looks like the brand has partnered with Zeiss once again. Furthermore, the screen features considerably thin bezels, and the right side will be curved.

It's said that vivo is bringing two under-display fingerprint sensors with this one. That somehow comes as surprising as other folding smartphones in the market usually use a side fingerprint sensor, not to mention that the sensors in the X Fold are likely to be ultrasonic ones. There's also another interesting feature spotted, which is an alert slider/ mute switch on the right. Other than that, the device looks similar to the other existing book folding style devices we see on the market.
