One thing you'll notice in recent years is that many smartphone brands are making laptops too. Xiaomi is the same, unveiling its new RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15 in February 2021. Yesterday, the company launched more variants for the two models.

As announced on its Weibo account, the RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15 now come with AMD Ryzen Accelerated Processing Unit (APU). The former will have an option of either the Ryzen 5 5500U or Ryzen 7 5700U APU, while the latter comes with either the Ryzen 5 5600H or Ryzen 7 5800H APU. All of them will be using AMD Vega graphics, which is integrated into the AMD Ryzen APUs.

Other than the processors, the 14-inch and 15.6-inch laptops are expected to have similar hardware to their Intel counterparts. This includes 16GB of DDR4 RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and WiFi 6 support. Both models also come with standard LCD, though the RedmiBook Pro 15's screen also has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz.
