Looks like AMD fans are in for a surprise. Rumour says AMD could announce 2 more CPUs soon. So, what should you know about it?

One for the flagship, another one on the affordable side

For your information, these two CPUs are the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D and the AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D, which are CPUs that focus on gaming. One is the most powerful gaming CPU on the market, and the other is a gaming CPU that will come at an affordable price.

In addition, starting with the AMD Ryzen 9 9950 X3D2, this processor comes with specifications that are very similar to the AMD Ryzen 9 9950 X3D, including 16 physical cores, 32 power threads and a base speed of 3.4GHz. The Boost Clock speed of this processor is said to be at 5.6GHz, 100MHz lower than the 5.7GHz of the previous chip, but it will come with 192MB of L3 cache, much higher than what is offered on the 9950 X3D model, which is 128MB.

The total TDP or power consumption of this processing chip will also reportedly increase from 170W to 200W. This is not a huge increase for a CPU of this size, but it is expected to help improve performance in a variety of productivity applications and not just gaming.

For small-sized desktop PCs

Moving on to the AMD Ryzen 5 7500 X3D, this processor chip comes with 6 physical cores and 12 power threads using the last generation ZEN 4 chip cores and is expected to come with 96MB L3 cache and a TDP value of 65W. This is expected to make this processor chip suitable for building small-sized desktop gaming computers or living room computers.

Not many official details are currently known about these CPUs, but the expectation of many reports and information leaks is that AMD is expected to introduce them soon, and they will only be sold in the first quarter of 2026.
