AMD is investigating claims that the company's data has been successfully stolen and is now being sold by hackers. Yesterday, data allegedly stolen from AMD appeared on the BreachForum site with it being sold to anyone interested. So, what should you know about it?

Among the information allegedly successfully stolen are product information being developed, personnel databases and customer databases. At the moment AMD is working with the authorities to find the source of the stolen data if it is legitimately theirs.

The BreachForum site is back to being the centre of stolen data being traded despite being seized several times by authorities such as the FBI and DOJ. The original operator of the site has been punished but it is now operating under the control of a new hacker group.

Currently, we have yet to confirm other details on the subject. So, we should wait for more confirmation from AMD. Hopefully, everything will be resolved soon.
