Every year, a lot of new laptops are announced during COMPUTEX. ASUS has already unveiled some new ZenBook laptops earlier this month, but it has more options up its sleeve. Yesterday, the company officially launched the Chromebook Flip CM5.

According to 9to5Google, the Chromebook Flip CM5 is a 2-in-1 Chromebook powered by AMD. One variant has an AMD Ryzen 3 3250C CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The other two have an AMD Ryzen 5 3500C CPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. This Chromebook also has a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen that can be flipped 180-degrees, as well as a 57Wh battery that is expected to last around 10 hours.

In terms of design, ASUS added some gaming aesthetics to the machine with orange highlights for the WASD keys, power button, and volume rocker. It also has Harman Kardon speakers, WiFi 6 support, and even a Numpad that isn't too common on 15-inch laptops. As for the ports, it comes with a USB-A port, USB-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack.

Currently, the Chromebook Flip CM5 is only available in the US for USD 499 (~RM2057). It should launch in Malaysia eventually, but are you interested in buying one? Do let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
