Gaming laptops nowadays are quite expensive, if you're looking for high-tier ones. But today, ASUS Malaysia is offering two new budget-friendly gaming laptops: the ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607) and ASUS Gaming K16 (K3605). Here's what you should know about them.
The ASUS Gaming Series stands out as one of the lightest and slimmest 16-inch gaming laptops, weighing as little as 1.80kg and measuring as thin as 1.89cm. The IPS display supports FHD+ resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio, up to a 144Hz refresh rate. These may look like ordinary laptops, but they are tested to military-grade durability standards (MIL-STD 810H).
In terms of power, the ASUS Gaming V16 features a more powerful Intel Core 5 210h processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, faster DDR5 memory, and a larger 63Wh battery for extended use. Meanwhile, the ASUS Gaming K16 is equipped with an Intel Core i5-13420H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU.
The ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607) is priced at RM3,999, and will be available starting 25 April 2025 across all authorised ASUS retailers in Malaysia. On the other hand, the ASUS Gaming K16 (K3605) is priced at RM3,499 and is also available on the same date across the same platforms. Both models are also bundled with 3 months of PC Game Pass and Office Home 2024, as well as featuring a full set of I/O ports.
