We already know ASUS Republic of Gamers will have its CES moment on the 8th of January 2024, we also speculated that the ROG Phone 8 has a good chance of appearing there until today. Well, ASUS India just confirmed it in its tweet post.
If you visit the ROG CES countdown page here, you will see that there are only three days to go (and counting). It should be noted that both Las Vegas and London's timelines are happening on the said date, while Taipei's one is on 7 AM, 9 January 2024. Taipei and KL have basically the same time zone so that will be one of the first news of the day.

The ROG Phone 8 series is confirmed to use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset but other than that, everything else is pure speculation. According to rumours, the pro variant could have up to 24GB + 512GB memory capacity and a 5500mAh battery pack. We already also got a first good look at the ROG Phone 8 by going through a blind camera test.
The blind camera test indicated that ROG was focused on improving the ROG Phone's camera quality. For the longest time, the camera section was not always its strongest point but since it's a gaming phone, we didn't really care much. We are looking forward to how good the cameras are so until then, stay tuned for the official news.
