Today, ASUS Republic of Gamers has finally announced the local prices for the ASUS TUF Gaming F and A series, ROG Strix G series and ROG Zephyrus M16 2022 editions. Initially revealed at the CES 2022, the newer one that we haven't heard before is the TUF Gaming A15 and A17 with a starting price of RM4999. As for the ROG Flow Z13 that you see on the cover, there's no official price and availability yet.
The TUF Gaming A15 and A17 don't differ much from the F and A series. To start with the basics, these gaming laptops are the world's first AMD Ryzen 6000 H series processors with a military-grade rating. With a starting price of RM4999, it can easily run many graphics intense triple-A video games with ease. Even more so with a new high-performance 4800MHz DDR5 RAM.
Similarly to other gaming laptops, ASUS also installed a pair of "Maximum Cooling" Dual 84 Blade Arc Flow Fans to keep the machine cool. On top of that, a MUX Switch has made its way into the TUF gaming A15 and A17. For those who don't know, it's an optional way for gamers to use for the best GPU performance.
Moreover, the 15.6-inch model (A15) supports up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU whereas the 17.3-inch model (A17) only has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. Gamers can also choose up to a 300Hz refresh rate performance and are accompanied by up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD as well as a WiFi 6E connection.
