ASUS Malaysia recently announced the Vivobook 15X with the Intel-powered K3504 and the AMD-powered M3504. Designed to be a stylish, durable, and sustainable laptop, it has a metal lid with a Vivobook raised logo tab, and a striped enter key for a more distinctive look. Built to last, the Vivobook 15X is made with 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and 100% recyclable packaging, and it meets EPEAT Silver and ENERGY STAR® standards along with MIL-STD-810H durability.
The Vivobook 15X is powered by either the 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U or AMD Ryzen™ 7 7730U, and it has 8GB of DDR4 memory. It also has a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with an anti-glare coating and TÜV Rheinland certification, a powerful Dirac-tuned audio system, and an HD webcam with ASUS 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR).
The Vivobook 15X is available from the first week of June, priced at RM 3,099 for the Intel-powered K3504 and RM 3,199 for the AMD-powered M3504. Considering the features, this a pretty nicely priced 15.6-inch value laptop from ASUS but which would you choose? Intel or AMD?
