Today, along with the announcement of the ROG Phone, ASUS Malaysia also revealed the new TUF Gaming laptop series - the FX505 and FX705 with a starting price of RM3699 (FX505, 15.6-inch Red Matter). Each model has two different prices based on the specs (refer to the pictures below) and designed to meet the gamers' need for a high-end gaming experience at affordable prices.
To sum up briefly on the specifications, both the FX505 and FX705 feature up to 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics. Only the Gold Steel edition is capable of going up to 144Hz high-refresh rate on its NanoEdge displays and supports gigabit Ethernet and gigabit-class Wi-Fi. DTS surround sound audio are also present for an immersive gaming experience (even more with headphones) and of course, the HyperCool technology has heatsinks and fans built-in to cool the CPU and GPU separately, along with dust tunnels.

ASUS Overstroke technology raises the actuation point higher in the stroke to improve responsiveness, giving gamers an edge and making for a more comfortable typing experience at the same time. If you look at the arrow keys at the end there, they are isolated
