ASUS Malaysia reveals high-end TUF Gaming laptops with a starting price of RM3699

Today, along with the announcement of the ROG Phone, ASUS Malaysia also revealed the new TUF Gaming laptop series - the FX505 and FX705 with a starting price of RM3699 (FX505, 15.6-inch Red Matter). Each model has two different prices based on the specs (refer to the pictures below) and designed to meet the gamers' need for a high-end gaming experience at affordable prices.

To sum up briefly on the specifications, both the FX505 and FX705 feature up to 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics. Only the Gold Steel edition is capable of going up to 144Hz high-refresh rate on its NanoEdge displays and supports gigabit Ethernet and gigabit-class Wi-Fi. DTS surround sound audio are also present for an immersive gaming experience (even more with headphones) and of course, the HyperCool technology has heatsinks and fans built-in to cool the CPU and GPU separately, along with dust tunnels.

The new TUF gaming series can support up to 8GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM, 256GB PCIe SSD, and a SATA 1TB 7200RPM 2.5 HDD

They have also passed the military-grade with MIL-STD-810G material, this guy here even gave a demonstration of jumping on it
