Today, the ASUS Republic of Gamers also has another event and they are introducing Malaysian gamers new toys to play with. Introduced earlier on at the CES and Computex 2019, two of the products are the ROG Mothership GZ700GX and ROG Huracan G21 gaming desktops, and the other is the Glacier Blue Zephyrus S GX502 and Strix G G531 gaming laptop from a starting price of RM3899.
Starting with the ROG Mothership, this is probably the most hardcore dedicated gaming tablet ever built. It packs a cooling system, quad-speakers, a detachable keyboard and a display that goes up to 17.3-inch FHD 144Hz display with a 3ms response time. Also, it features an Intel Core i9-9980HK with G-Sync capabilities as well as an Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. Also, this bad boy cost RM26,999 and will be available in mid-July onwards.
We also talked about the new Glacier Blue skin before, so for the Malaysia market, Glacier Blue will be available on Zephyrus S GX502 and Strix G G531. The Zephyrus S GX502 is slightly different from the GX701 model, as it features an Intel Core i7-9750H CPU, 16GB DDR4 2666Mhz memory, PCIE NVME 512GB M.2 SSD, 15.6" FHD IPS display up to 240Hz with 3ms response time, NVIDIA GeForce RTX2070 graphics and more.
On the other hand, the ROG Strix G531G, the more affordable gaming laptop variant features an Intel Core i5-9300H CPU, 4GB DDR4 2666Mhz memory, PCIE NVME 512GB M.2 SSD, a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display up to 120Hz with 25ms response time, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650 graphics and more. The two new Glacier Blue models cost RM8899 and RM3899 respectively, which will be released at the end of August 2019.
Finally, the ROG Huracan G21 is the company's latest gaming desktop in Malaysia that has a detachable side cover. This allows the airflow to go in and out of the system for better cooling and triggers the internal sensors to boost CPU and GPU performance by 11% and 8% respectively. The gaming desktop is powered by up the latest 9th Generation Intel Core i9 processor with up to 32GB of DDR4 2666MHz memory, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080, 8GB graphics. It comes with up to a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe® 3.0 x4 SSD and a 2TB HDD; a 2TB HDD with Intel Optane Memory technology is also present.
There are two models for this (G21C-XMY003T and G21C-NDMY003T). The one we mentioned above is the former and priced at RM11,999. The difference is the latter features an Intel Core i5-9400 processor + Intel H370 chipset and a PCIEG3x4 NVME 256G M.2 SSD for RM6299. Both gaming desktops will be available in August 2019.
