We are just a week away from the reveal of the ASUS ROG Phone 2 in China, but leaks on the gaming device aren't coming out a lot. However, someone has taken some photos and we gotta say...it actually looks more or less the same as the predecessor.

As usual, the leak was none other than Weibo since ASUS has already announced its collaboration with Tencent, as well as launching it in China. For those who missed the previous news, the ROG Phone 2 is capable of optimizing the visuals up to 120Hz on its display and will run on a new badass Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset. According to the news which was just released last night, the new chipset has a higher clocking rate, improving the CPU and GPU performance by 4.2% and 15% respectively which is a big difference.

Judging by the icon design on the apps, it's safe to say that the ROG Phone 2 will run on ROG Gaming UI (probably a new version too) based on Android, as well as the dual stereo speakers on the top and bottom.
