The next-gen ASUS ROG Phone is on the way but we have no clue when exactly it will arrive. Today, the news has finally come by claiming that the gaming smartphone will be launched as soon as next month in India. If it's true, the teasers should be rolling out in the coming weeks.

As we had found out earlier, it appears that ASUS will be skipping the number '4' and instead name the device ROG Phone 5. The device with model numbers ASUS_I005DA and ASUS_I005DB have also been spotted in TENAA's listing. The ROG Phone 5 is expected to pack with tech specs such as a 6.78-inch display, a 6,000mAh dual-cell battery, and Android 11 OS.

For the design, the ASUS_I005DA is going to bring a horizontally aligned triple camera setup at the back. On the same side, it seems to feature a secondary screen, an RGB-lit ROG logo, and a logo of Tencent Games. Meanwhile, the ASUS_I005DB has a very plain rear featuring only the horizontal camera housing.
