ASUS ROG Phone 6D gets certified with a Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset

ASUS ROG Phone 6 could soon receive a new variant with this certification discovered. According to it, a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus version of the ROG Phone 6 could make its way to the market. The device gets named ROG Phone 6D, with the "D" referring to Dimensity.

Popular tipster Digital Chat Station dug out two model numbers, ASUS_AI2203_A and ASUS_AI2203_B, from the 3C listing. Those two are said to belong to the upcoming device. Meanwhile, it has also gotten spotted on the RoHS certification page of ASUS' official website, and it's where it confirms the device's name.

Besides the Dimensity chip, Digital Chat Station mentions that the device could arrive with a 165Hz flat screen supplied by Samsung Display. It would also sport a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, alongside a 6,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast wired charging. Judging by the tech specs, the device might only differ in terms of the chipset compared to the currently available ROG Phone 6.
