ASUS may be launching the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series soon as the highest variant of the lineup, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate was spotted getting 3C certification. This also revealed a couple of its specs, which we will go into detail below.

As spotted by MySmartPrice, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate passed 3C certification, the authority body in China on 14 November. The listing showed that the device will support 5G connectivity, which is expected for such a device.

Furthermore, it also confirmed the wired charging speed for the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate, which is 65W. It is not the fastest and not slow either, though it is rather expected given that the series is known to have beefy batteries up to 6000mAh, which normally don’t support super high charging speeds.

Besides that, nothing much was revealed about the device, though a previous Geekbench listing did confirm that the ROG Phone 8 will sport 6GB RAM. The series is rumoured to launch sometime next year and given that 3C certification was just received, do look out for its launch in the first quarter of 2024.
