Asus made its first official statement about a partnership with Unity on the ROG Phone III yesterday. Today, we’ve found an unknown device with the model code of 1003D made an appearance on the benchmark database with 12GB of RAM which is expected to be the latest ROG Phone III.
According to the source, the latest ROG Phone III will arrive with at least two variants with both 8GB and 12GB of LODDR5X RAM. As the unknown model code mentioned earlier, 1003D appeared last month on GeekBench with 8GB of RAM and now it has shown with 12GB of RAM in the benchmark database. Furthermore, we might expect to look into 3 variants of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GN of storage that runs on Android 10 and equipped with a Snapdragon 865 chipset.

Besides, in collaboration with Unity, there is also a plugin for Unity's Engine being created to support five features of the ROG Phone III. Game developers will be using the Unity 3D creation platform’s exclusive access to a set of plugins, including TwinView SDK, Gamepad SDK, Aura Light, SDK, Refresh Rate Control SDK, and Performance Boost SDK on it as well.
Either way, there’s still no official confirmation on the tech specs and also releasing dates on the ROG Phone III, so do take this with a pinch of salt. But are you having high hopes for it? Let me know at our Facebook page and stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com!
