As announced from CES 2022, the new 2022 ROG Zephyrus lineup is finally here in Malaysia. Gamers in Malaysia can now choose between three ROG Zephyrus laptops which are the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16, ROG Zephyrus G15 and ROG Zephyrus G14 from a starting price of RM8,499.
Since the laptops were introduced before, here's the highlight breakdown of each ROG Zephyrus model. The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 has now reached a new level of dual-display functionalities. Besides doing productivity tools from editing, the ScreenPad Plus can now support streaming as well as gaming from the likes of Dying Light 2. Thanks to the 4-directional hinge, this closes the gap between the two displays effectively.
Moreover, there are two new panel choices that support Dolby Vision. The first one is a ROG Nebula HDR with 512 Mini LED dimming zones and reaches 1100 nits of peak brightness. The second is co-developed with BOE and is a brand-new ROG-exclusive display called Dual-Spec panel that is able to switch between 4K 120Hz and FHD 240Hz.
As for the ROG Zephyrus G14, the new version comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 Series processor and AMD Radeon RX 6000S Series mobile GPUs with a MUX Switch. The lid is also back the trademark AniMe Matrix display with 13,969 precision CNC milled holes with 1449 mini LEDs which is more than last year's model. On the other hand, The G15 comes equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS, and both sport up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU with a dedicated MUX Switch as well.
