ASUS Malaysia has officially announced new ASUS ROG Zephyrus series, as well as STRIX series laptops, and it comes equipped with notable tech specs such as up to an Nvidia RTX 2080 Super, as well as up to 10th gen Intel Core i9 processor. In terms of the pricing, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus series starts from the price of RM6999, while the STRIX series starts from RM4399.
In terms of the availability date, some of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus and STRIX series laptops are available for purchase from today onwards while the rest of the laptops will be available from early of September onwards. But that’s not all, all the laptops mentioned will come equipped with Liquid Metal thermal compound in order to improve cooling performance while Zephyrus series and STRIX series laptops will have a 65W PD/Type-C power adapter and an ROG Electro Punk set respectively.
In terms of the tech specs, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus series comes equipped with up to an Intel Core i7-10875H processor, GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q, up to 32GB RAM, up to 1TB SSD and up to 17.3-inch 300Hz G-Sync Pantone validated display. The ROG STRIX, on the other hand, comes with up to an RTX 2070 Super, up to 17.3-inch display and it supports up to 240Hz refresh rate while the rest of the specs remains largely the same.
But that’s not all, there’s Zephyrus Duo 15, it comes equipped with up to a 10th Generation Intel Core i9-10980HK processor, up to an RTX 2080 Super Max-Q, 32GB of RAM, as well as 1TB + 1GB SSD in RAID 0 configuration for maximum performance. But that’s not all, the laptop comes equipped with the ScreenPad Plus, which is a secondary display located directly above the keyboard.
Furthermore, it also supports touch input as well as stylus input, allowing users to quickly write down notes or even sketch on the laptop without the need for an external drawing tablet. Other than that, the laptop supports up to 300Hz screen refresh rate, up to 4K UHD resolution, as well 100% Adobe RGB support for the main display and 100% sRGB support for the ScreenPad Plus.
