ASUS ROG announced latest gaming laptops at CES 2017 with 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) didn't shy away from their products at the CES 2017 last week, showing plenty of goodies for the gamers of all ages. One of the highlights is ROG’s 2017 gaming notebooks are at the forefront of the Intel 7th Generation (‘Kaby Lake’) revolution, with GX800VH, G701, G752, GL502, GL702, GL553 and GL753 all now available with up to the latest Intel Core processors. In this article, we will take a look at some of the gaming laptops.

GX800VH is the world’s first ROG gaming laptop with an 18-inch panel and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology for real 4K UHD gaming visuals. The laptop packs a unique Hydro Overclocking liquid-cooling system for extreme overclocking performance, plus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 in 2-way SLI for powerful, desktop-like performance. It also has the MechTAG mechanical-switch keyboard, which features anti-ghosting with 30-key rollover, and customizable ROG Aura RGB LED effects for each key.

Next is the G752 driven by an unlocked Intel Core i7 processor and a VR-ready NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU. G752’s high-speed DDR4 DRAM is overclocked to run at 2800MHz, and offers HyperDrive RAID 0 and the latest NVM Express (NVMe) and PCI Express (PCIe) technologies for blazing-fast storage speeds, ROG-exclusive 3D Vapor Chamber for effective and efficient cooling for up to 7°C-cooler GPU temperatures, and a 120Hz panel with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology for super-fast 120Hz refresh rates on its wide-view panel. The world’s first backlit anti-ghosting keyboard with 30-key rollover complete G752’s roster of headline features.

G701 is engineered for ultimate speed and performance, with an unlocked Intel Core i7 processor and a VR-ready NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU. It also boasts an overclocked DDR4 DRAM at 2800MHz, HyperDrive RAID 0 and NVMe and PCIe technologies for blazing-fast storage speeds, and a 120Hz panel with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.

GL502 and GL702 are compact gaming laptops featuring Intel 7th Generation processors, VR-ready NVIDIA GeForce GTX1070/1060 GPUs, 120Hz NVIDIA G-SYNC panels, and backlit anti-ghosting keyboards with 30-key rollover. Both laptops are available in the ROG Mist Black with Neon Orange and ROG Armor Titanium with Plasma Copper colour schemes.

On the other hand, GL553 and GL753 both deliver powerful gaming performance accelerated by a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti/1050 graphics. Both models also offer a gamer-friendly keyboard powered by ASUS Aura with four distinct lighting areas for incredible gaming experiences in the dark, plus 30-key rollover and positive 2.5mm key travel. The Cooling Overboost feature offers flexible fan speeds for custom control and better system stability.
