ASUS ROG reveals latest 2025 gaming laptop lineup with RTX 50 series and more

At CES 2025, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced the arrival of the 2025 ROG laptop lineup. As expected, the company will integrate the latest processors from Intel, AMD and NVIDIA with new chassis and cooling designs for the ROG Strix series, ROG Flow Z13, and ROG Zephyrus series and a complete redesign of the XG Mobile with Thunderbolt 5 support.

To be more specific, the entire ROG laptop lineup is equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra, AMD Ryzen, and the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. In case you missed it, the RTX 50 Series is powered by NVIDIA Blackwell with a massive level of AI horsepower. It enables new experiences and next-level graphics fidelity. Multiply performance with NVIDIA DLSS 4, it can generate images at unprecedented speed with NVIDIA Studio.

We can expect some of these ROG laptops to come into Malaysia, below is a quick highlight summary of each product:

  • ROG Strix - Strix SCAR 16, Strix SCAR 18 Strix G16, and Strix G18 with end-to-end vapor chambers, a sandwiched heatsink design, and tool-less upgrades to allow users to upgrade RAM or storage seamlessly.
  • ROG Flow Z13 - A brand-new AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chiplet processor with RDNA 3.5 graphics for improved AI performance, combined with up to 128GB LPDDR5X-8000 RAM unified quad-channel memory. Also has a 2.5K 180Hz ROG Nebula Display.
  • ROG Zephyrus - Thin-and-light G14 and G16 laptops get the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs and refreshed cooling
  • ROG XG Mobile - External GPU adds Thunderbolt 5 support for the first time and features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU and a few extensive connectivity.
