Intel seems to be finding its way into more and more devices as ASUS has also revealed it's MeMo Pad FHD 10 tablet which is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel processor. Sporting a 10.1 inch screen other tech specs for the MeMo Pad FHD 10 include:
- 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor
- 10.1-inch display (1920 x 1200, IPS)
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB / 32GB + microSD slot + 5GB ASUS WebStorage
- 5MP rear camera (autofocus) + 1.2MP front camera
- Supports 802.11 a/b/g/n + GPS
- Lithium Polymer battery (10 hours)
- 264.6 x 182.4 x 9.5mm + 580g
- SonicMaster Audio + stereo speakers
Coming in Royal Blue, Silk White and Vivid Pink, the ASUS MeMo Pad FHD 10 is estimated to arrive in September and seems to be the go-between device from the normal 7-inch to 8-inch entry-level tablets to the really high-end 2K display tablets like ASUS own Transformer Pad Infinity. It seems strange to call a device that can handle full HD 1080p like that, but that's how it feels when seeing the new range of 2K display tablets out there. No details on pricing just yet, but this is likely to come much later.
