ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 release: Ryzen 5800H CPU, 90Hz OLED display, and Harman-Kardon speakers from ~RM2927

When it comes to laptop brands, ASUS is probably one of the most well known in Malaysia. The company just launched a new VivoBook model in China and we can expect it to be available here. But first, let's take a look at the new VivoBook Pro 14.

Now available for pre-order via Jingdong (China), the ASUS VivoBook Pro 14 is a mainstream ultrabook targeted at the mobile workforce. It comes in two configurations, one with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H CPU and the other with a more powerful Ryzen 7 5800H CPU. Both will have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. Moreover, it a thickness of just 17.9mm and weighs only 1.35kg, making it a highly portable laptop.

The VivoBook Pro 14's best feature is its 14-inch OLED screen. It has a max resolution of 2880 x 1800, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Besides the display, it has a 45W cooling system to help improve performance, Harman Kardon speakers, webcam protection, and an integrated fingerprint reader on the power button.
