Last night, ASUS unveiled a new Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition (K5504), now available for order. It's priced at RM6499 and marks the first-ever laptop bundle to feature an exclusive BAPE camo pattern from the renowned streetwear fashion brand, A BATHING APE (BAPE).
Available in two captivating colourways, green camo and blue camo, the pattern adorns the laptop and the accompanying accessories, including a figurine, a mouse, a carry bag, and a set of stickers. Then in terms of tech specs, the Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition is powered by an Intel Core o9-13900H processor, Intel Irix Xe Graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Featuring a 15.6-inch 2.8K OLED display, it also supports a 16:9 aspect ratio, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 0.2ms response time, 600 nits HDR peak brightness and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Moreover, the laptop is also VESA CERTIFIED Display HDR True Black 600 and Pantone Validated, as well as producing 1.07 billion colours.
There are also plenty of ports. Besides the usual USB Type-A ports, there is one Thunderbolt 4 port that can support an extra display or power delivery, a HDMI 1.4 and a 3.5mm audio jack as well. The webcam sports a 1080p FHD sensor with a private shutter and it's worth mentioning that the speakers are harman/kardon.
