ASUS XREAL R1 AR Glasses Pre-order - 240Hz Micro-OLED, 171” virtual display, ROG Ally integration and more for RM4700

ASUS have officially announced the global pre-order for their XREAL R1 AR Glasses starting from 15 May 2026 at $849 (~RM3376), [Update] and will be available in Malaysia for RM4700 sometime in late July 2026. Featuring 240Hz micro-OLED, these gaming AR glasses offer up to 171” virtual displays. According to ASUS it will have seamless ROG Ally integration via an ROG control Dock. 

 

Other ROG XREAL R1 tech specs and features

Previously introduced during CES 2026, the XREAL R1 is expected to ship from 1 June 2026. It will feature a spatial computing chip that delivers 3DoF support and real-time 2D-to-3D conversion. Resolutions are still FHD 1080p though. The electrochromic lens can be dimmed while head-tracking intelligently makes them transparent. You can also set 3 tint levels manually.
