The ASUS ZenFone 9 is way past the due date, considering the ZenFone 8 launched in May last year. However, the launch of the new generation of ZenFone devices might not be far away, as someone has spotted a promo video that seems to have been posted by mistake.
The video has revealed the complete design of the compact ZenFone 9, sporting a futuristic design. It features a dual-camera setup on the rear, each protruding from the back panel. Meanwhile, the front has a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera, and it's nothing special. The device is expected to arrive in four colour options - red, white, blue, and black.
Besides the design, the video has also confirmed some tech specs. They include a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate, 4,300mAh battery, 50MP Sony IMX766 camera sensor, 6-axis gimbal OIS support, dual-stereo speakers, and IP68 dust and water resistance rating.
