Today, ASUS Malaysia just released four new Zenbooks into the Malaysian market. Among all the four laptops, the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition is the one that catches the most attention due to its special design and the fact that this laptop can be brought to space for work. Yes, for real.
The first thing that you would probably notice on the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition is the 3.5-inch OLED external display on the cover lid. As expected, this can show customizable messages, themes and animations, and even an animated business card. As a Space Edition, it's capable of withstanding extreme vibration, resisting and functioning in cold conditions of - 24°C to blistering hot environments up to 61°C.
In terms of tech specs, it's powered by up to 12th Generation Intel Core i7 H-series processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB RAM, a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD, and WiFi 6E. Moreover, the OLED touchscreen display supports a 16:10 aspect ratio, 2.8K resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, PANTONE Validated, DisplayHDR True Black 500-certified visuals, with a 100% DCI-P3 gamut and TÜV Rheinland-certified eye care.
There will be two variants based on the processor and storage. The Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition (UX5401) will be available at RM6,499 (i7-12700H/16GB/1TB) and RM5,599 (i5-12500H/16GB/512GB). If you head over to Mid Valley (centre court) to purchase at the ASUS roadshow, the first 20 customers will get to redeem a limited edition Space Edition USB Drive Card 3.0 and an ASUS wooden Bluetooth Speaker.
