Last year, ASUS introduced the Zenfone 8 as a compact Android smartphone, and the size became one of the selling points for the device. In 2022, the company might bring another exciting feature to its next-generation flagships to attract more customers, and it could be a secondary screen.
According to an alleged screenshot taken on the upcoming Zenfone 9, the device might sport a secondary screen on the back. The screenshot also shows that the screen is placed right under a dual-camera module. Besides that, it also hints at the Zenfone 9 having flat edges on all sides, which is quite a popular smartphone design nowadays.
However, the source mentions that it could be just a placeholder image or something. Therefore, don't keep your hopes high until the brand confirms anything. It's worth mentioning that this would not be the first time for a device (other than foldables) to offer a secondary screen if it came true. A prominent example would be the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
