ASUS announced the Copilot+ line of PCs with AI technology at Computex 2024

ASUS introduced a new era of Copilot+ PCs featuring advanced AI capabilities with over 45 NPU AI TOPS engines at Computex 2024. The launch included new models across the ProArt, Zenbook and Vivobook portfolios. That said, what should you know about it?

For creators, the three new ASUS ProArt laptops offer a combination of portability with a rugged yet lightweight design, available in 16-inch, 13-inch convertible and 13-inch detachable form factors. Powered by up to 50 TOPS AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPUs, the device streamlines the creative process with tools like ASUS DialPad, AI-powered StoryCube, MuseTree app and ProArt Creator Hub control centre.

Additionally, design and technology fans will appreciate the ASUS Zenbook S16. This is a premium 16-inch ultraportable that combines functional aesthetics with innovation. Although thin at 1.1cm, it houses an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and has a unique Ceraluminum cover and CNC-machined geometric grill design. Ceraluminum material offers a new look and feel, combining the durability of ceramic with the strength of aluminium.

Furthermore, the new ASUS Vivobook S15 (S5507) is the company's first Copilot+ PC to feature the AI-enabled Snapdragon X Elite chipset. This sleek laptop offers advanced AI features such as Windows Studio Effects, ASUS AiSense Camera with AI-powered security and Live Captions.

The existing 2024 models in the Vivobook line have been updated with processors up to AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, increasing their performance and capabilities. The Vivobook S series now includes models with various screen sizes and updated specifications. ASUS also announced the availability of new Windows AI features such as Recall and Cocreator in Paint for the Vivobook S 15 from June 18.

Moreover, other models will receive free updates to the Copilot+ PC experience when they become available in the market. Pre-orders start at USD$1399 (~RM6435) for the Zenbook S 16, USD$1699 (~RM7815) for the ProArt PX13 and USD$1899 (~RM8735) for the ProArt P16 clamshell laptop. All ProArt laptops come with three free months of Adobe Creative Suite subscription and six free months of CapCut Pro.

In addition, ASUS introduced new models in the TUF Gaming laptop series, the 14-inch TUF Gaming A14 and the 16-inch TUF Gaming A16. This gaming laptop features an ultra-portable chassis design including AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and NVIDIA GPU. With better cooling and enhanced performance, TUF Gaming laptops are designed for enhanced productivity and demanding AI tasks.
