ASUS breaks refresh rate limits with ROG Swift 360Hz

Records and limits exist to be broken, though sometimes the increase can be quite astounding. ASUS and Nvidia have developed a new 360Hz refresh rate technology for displays. This groundbreaking tech has been added to the ROG Swift 360Hz.

How fast is 360Hz? According to ASUS, at 360Hz the display can refresh 54 times in the time you blink your eye, which is impressive. ASUS and Nvidia have not detailed any other tech specs for the monitor but we can make a few assumptions.

Since it's meant to be an e-sports monitor from the ROG Swift series, we can speculate about some tech specs based on previous models. If we take the ROG SWIFT PG258Q, we can see that it's a 24.5-inch TN panel with a max resolution of 1920x1080, 1ms response time, and 240Hz refresh rate. If the ROG Swift 360Hz is not a major upgrade, it will likely use the same TN panel and Full HD resolution. Of course, that's just our guess and we still have to wait for ASUS or Nvidia to give us the official word.
