Is it the OnePlus 9E or 9R? Nobody seems to have an idea what exactly the third member of the OnePlus 9 series would be named yet. However, a slightly more reliable source seems to be leaning more towards the '9E' moniker.
According to GSMArena, the accessory maker Spigen listed the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9E on its accessories page for OnePlus products. Conspicuously, the three devices have since been removed from the list. This suggests that Spigen's site admin had accidentally (or perhaps deliberately) updated the site, but was then told to remove it.

Of course, this is circumstantial evidence at best. But a 'leak' from Spigen should be quite credible, as the brand would receive info from brands in advance to make third-party phone covers. In other words, the third model to the OnePlus 9 series could indeed be called the OnePlus 9E. This lite version is expected to come with a Snapdragon 690 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
Whether it's going to be the OnePlus 9E or not will be revealed soon though, as OnePlus is expected to launch its new phones sometime this month. Till then, stay tuned to TechNave for more updates!
