Earlier today, Acer hosted a showcase event to formally unveil its latest products in Malaysia. These include four new AOPEN series gaming monitors - AOPEN 32HC5QU S3, AOPEN 27HC5R Z1, AOPEN 27KG3U M3, and AOPEN 25MV1Q Z1. Let's take a look at what these gaming monitors have to offer.
AOPEN 32HC5QU S3
The first to highlight is the AOPEN 32HC5QU S3, a 31.5-inch VA panel with a 1500R curvature. It delivers high visual performance with a resolution of 2560x1440, a 180Hz refresh rate, and 1ms Turbo Visual Response (TVR). It also has good ergonomics, with adjustable tilt, height, and a swivel stand to achieve the optimal viewing angle. Additionally, it has two built-in 2W speakers.

AOPEN 27HC5R Z1

The other 1500R curved Acer gaming monitor showcased is the AOPEN 27HC5R Z1, a smaller 27-inch VA display that promises greater visual quality. Its 99% sRGB colour accuracy and high 3000:1 contrast ratio means games look great on it. Moreover, it supports refresh rates of up to 280Hz and 1ms TVR for smoother game visuals. Like the 31.5-inch model, this gaming monitor has built-in speakers and a tilt-adjustable stand.
AOPEN 27KG3U M3
Third on the list is the AOPEN 27KG3U M3, a 27-inch IPS screen for gamers who want greater precision and clarity. This screen also has a max resolution of 2560x1440 but delivers a much faster GTG response time of 0.5ms. It also has a 180Hz refresh rate, which ensures smooth gameplay and visuals. On top of that, it has HDR10 support for better contrast.

AOPEN 25MV1Q Z1

Finally, there's the AOPEN 25MV1Q Z1. This monitor is the non-curved cousin of the AOPEN 27HC5R Z1. It's a smaller VA panel at 24.5 inches and only has a max resolution of 1920x1080. However, it supports the same high refresh rate of 280Hz, 1ms TVR response time, and 99% sRGB colour accuracy.
