Acer recently announced their new Acer AR Vision GR0 and Acer GI0 AI smart glasses at Computex 2026. While the AR Vision GR0 is obviously for augmented reality, the GI0 offers Gemini AI hands-free capabilities. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details were available at the time of writing though.
One for AR and one for AI?
The AR Vision GR0 glasses offer dual micro OLED FHD screens for up to 172-inch screens for augmented reality. It can be used for both gaming and work and is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows devices. The speakers are positioned near the ears for natural stereo sound, while the glasses themselves weigh just 69 grams.
The GI0 glasses on the other hand does not offer any built-in screens but integrates Google Gemini for voice commands, real-time image analysis and instant translation. It uses a built-in camera for both photos and video recording and connects via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It is also quite lightweight at just 46 grams.
