Acer Malaysia have officially announced that their more environmentally-friendly laptop, the Acer Aspire Vero will be available in Malaysia starting from 11.11 (tonight). Utilizing a chassis made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and a recycled cardboard box printed with soybean ink, the Acer Aspire Vero will be powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 from RM3399 while the Core i7 variant will be priced from RM4299.
In addition, Acer will also offer Aspire Vero buyers a special promotion available from 11.11 to 19 November 2021 which includes an RM100 discount for their Shopee store, Acer Gateway TWS and more. Other Acer Vero tech specs include Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 (lifetime license), a 15.6 FHD display and easy to access memory for tech savvy upgraders.

In line with the Acer “Make Your Green Mark” environmentally-friendly theme, Acer Malaysia have adopted 15 trees in Taman Tugu while the Aspire Vero also has a one-touch Vero Sense button that automatically sets all the energy saving features available on the laptop. According to Acer, the PCR plastic is still just as tough and sturdy as their usual plastics, and while it doesn't biodegrade, it can be recycled. Acer will also channel RM100 to adopt a tree for every Aspire Vero bought.
