Acer just announced their latest device based on the chromebook product line, the Acer Chromebook 14 for Work. It is designed to withstand a bit more wear and tear, compared to other laptops out there. The Chromebook 14 can survive a four feet drop without any major repercussions in operations.
It comes with an Intel Core processor, 14 inch IPS display, Corning’s Vibrant Gorilla Glass on the top, and a full size keyboard. It just needs one cable for data/display/charging (USB 3.0 Type C) and it can last for up to 12 hours per charge. Plus, it has a spill resistant keyboard, so any liquid spilled is of no concern to this Chromebook. From the looks of it, the Chromebook 14 for Work is designed for the enterprise market with a $349 (RM1361) price tag, but it may not arrive in Malaysia due to the current popularity of Chromebooks in the country.
