Acer Malaysia has officially returned to the tablet market in our country by releasing 2 new products in the space, the Acer Iconia Tab P11 and Acer Iconia Tab A8. Both are Android tablets with slim aluminium chassis for entertainment and education, so read to learn more.
Let’s start with the Iconia Tab P11, which sports an 11-inch 90Hz 2K quantum dot (QLED) with 100% NTSC wide colour gamut and narrow bezels. Under the hood, it’s powered by an Octa-Core processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.
Battery-wise, it’s an 8000mAh cell that Acer claims can deliver up to 13 hours of video playback and charges swiftly via USB power delivery 2.0 fast charge. As for cameras, there’s a 5MP selfie shooter at the front and a 13MP rear camera.
Meanwhile, the Iconia Tab A8 features an 8.7-inch IPS display with a narrow-bezel aluminium alloy. The processor is an Octa-Core chip paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage that is expandable with a microSD card. The battery is 6,000mAh, while the cameras include a 5MP selfie shooter and an 8MP rear camera.
Both tablets will be available starting 1 September 2024 at the Acer r eStore, Acer official stores on Shopee and Lazada and Acer authorised resellers nationwide. The Iconia Tab P11 is priced at RM1099, while the Iconia Tab A8 is priced at RM699.
However, you can get special discounts on the tablets until 14 September; RM999 and RM499 for the Acer Iconia Tab P11 and A8 respectively. During this promotion period, customers will receive a free casing with every purchase of either tablet too.
