As mentioned previously in our Acer Liquid C1 smartphone preview, the official launch for the smartphone in Malaysia was estimated to be sometime this week. Today's launch of the Acer Liquid C1 only confirms this. It also confirms a number of other previously previewed features for the smartphone which includes:
- 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 Soc Processor
- 400MHz PowerVR SGX540 GPU
- RM999 price
- Available in Malaysia next week
The Acer Liquid C1 will also be made available for Acer's Try-Before-You-Buy program. This new program allows you to try out the smartphone for a still unsettled amount of time (currently estimated to be 3 days) provided you pay the full price of the phone (like a security deposit). After the trial period, the customer can return the loaner smartphone and either get back his or her security deposit no-questions-asked or get a completely new smartphone should he or she like it. Full details regarding this Try-Before-You-Buy program have yet to be made available so keep checking back and we will keep you updated as soon as we find out.
