Today, Acer Malaysia has brought in three new TravelMate laptop lineup for the Malaysia market - the TravelMate P614, the TravelMate X314 and also the TravelMate P214 laptop. Besides that, they also showcased the Chromebook 311, an extreme wide EI491 CR monitor and two new projectors.
Starting with the 14-inch FHD TravelMate P614 which was revealed at the Acer Global Press Conference 2019 in New York three weeks ago, it has a US Military Grade standard test (MIL-STD 810G) with drops from 122 CM height and withstanding 60kg of pressure! It's not just the sturdy exterior, but internally it's equipped with Acer ProShield Security Manager and Trusted Platform Module 2.0 that safeguard company data. Furthermore, it's powered by Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB Gen3 x4 PCIe SSD using NVMe technology. Ensuring maximum productivity, its USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C with Thunderbolt 3 offers lightning-fast data transfers up to 40Gbps and support for up to 8K display. It's currently retailing at RM5699 at Acer official online store and authorized resellers.

Next up, the Chromebook 311 is powered by an Intel Celeron N4100 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB eMMC storage (expandable memory) and can stand up to 12 hours of battery life on a full single charge. Like the TravelMate lineup, it has 2x2 MU-MIMO technology, but with extra perks of withstanding liquid spills up to 330ml, as well as surviving drops from 122 CM and weights on top up to 60kg. This one cost RM1299 and will available in mid-May 2019.
In addition, there's also the extreme wide 49-inch EI491CR monitor, and two portable LED projectors - the PD132Wi and PD1520i. The monitor has a curved VA panel display ZeroFrame design with a 32:9 aspect ratio and DFHD (3840 x 1080) resolution. Meanwhile, the projectors go up to 4K2K resolution (max setting), DLP 3D and HDMI 3D ready. The following prices are RM3399, RM2999 and RM3699.
