Today, Acer Malaysia has brought in four Chromebooks ranging from 11 to 14-inches with an array of forms and tech-specs to meet different requirements of organisations, from education to enterprise. The Chromebooks are the Acer Chromebooks R 11 738T, Chromebook for Work 14 CP5-471, Chromebook 11 N7 C731, and Chromebox for Meetings CXV2. Read below to see what else the devices can offer.

As the forefront runner of the Acer Chromebook series, this laptop is equipped with Acer’s 360-degree dual-torque hinge design, offering great flexibility such as being able to switch between the four usage modes - laptop, pad, display and tent modes, as well as versatile user experiences. When switching in between the modes, the audio channels also automatically reverse when the display is flipped.
It’s also feature an actual Google Play App which allows you to install apps just as how you do for your Android phone. With over 2 million apps at its disposal, owners will be able to manage the device and apps in a single cloud interface.

Next up, this Chromebook can withstand 330ml of liquid water spillage and 60kg of downward weight placed on the top cover, as well as a drop from a height of up to 45cm. Similar to the Chromebook 11, the Chromebook 14 CP5-471 has US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G tests that ensure extreme reliability and durability for business and commercial environments.

Featuring the same splash-resistant design, it also went through rigorous testing in accordance to US Military Standard (MIL-STD 810G) for its ruggedness and durability of the Chromebook. Designed for students, this will surely be useful should “accidents” happen, surviving falls from 122cm and withstanding 60kg on top of the cover. It also sports a fan-less design to deliver a cool and quiet operation, making it ideal for students in the classroom, library or laboratory.

There are currently two variants of the model - C731-C7UZ and C731-C32C, which is based on the memory listed above. The latter cost RM1099 while the former is RM999 only, both are available at selected authorized Acer resellers nationwide.
