Acer Malaysia has officially launched the Predator Helios 18 AI gaming laptop from RM17,999. Featuring an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, and an 18-inch 4K Mini LED 120Hz display there's even a promo. If you buy before 12 July 2026, you can also get a complimentary PM161Q portable monitor valued at RM349.
A Gaming desktop replacement unit that can be upgraded?
While the Acer Predator Helios 18 AI is a gaming laptop with 48GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage, it can be upgraded to up to 256GB RAM and 6TB SSD storage. To keep things cool, Acer integrated an advanced cooling system featuring 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D Fans engineered with the world's thinnest 0.05mm metal blades, dynamically adaptive airflow, vector heat pipes, and premium liquid metal thermal grease. Other tech specs include Killer DoubleShot Pro Wi-Fi 7, a dedicated Ethernet E5000B port, and dual onboard Thunderbolt 5 ports.
The Acer PM191Q E and AH101 Portable Monitor Stand
Alongside the Acer Predator Helios 18 AI gaming laptop, Acer also announced the Acer PM191Q E portable monitor, their first 18.5-inch FHD IPS portable monitor and the AH101 portable monitor stand to help support it. The PM191Q features a 178-degree wide viewing angle and built-in speakers. Weighing in at 1.13kg it connects via USB Type-C and is priced from RM469 with a RM369 promo from 6 to 12 July 2026 along with the AH101 Portable Monitor Stand at RM59 (normal price is RM99).
