Besides Acer announcing Acer Day for early August, the company have also announced two new gaming laptops entering Malaysia. None other than the Predator Helios 700 and Helios 300, the starting price is from RM4599 and here's what you need to know about the tech specs.
Starting with the Helios 700, the trademark HyperDrift keyboard is back and is equipped with either an overclockable 10th Gen Intel Core i9-10980HK or i7-10875H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER or RTX 2070 SUPER graphics card. For the memory, there's up to 64GB of the 2933Hz memory and up to two fast PCIe NVMe Solid State Drives. Its 17.3-inch FHD IPS display also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology and 144Hz refresh rate.
In terms of features, it has two Thunderbolt 3 ports, RGB lighting and anti-ghosting keyboard, and to keep it cool while gaming, a new Predator PowerGem thermal solution can help in monitoring the heat conduction. The pre-order for this gaming laptop is now available and the price starts from RM12,999 depending on the specs.
As for the Predator Helios 300, it features the latest 10th Gen Intel Core i7 or i5 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics, 8GB of RAM that is upgradable up to 32GB RAM in dual channel and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. In addition, the IPS display measures 15.6-inch in FHD resolution that supports 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time.
Acer also integrated a Killer DoubleShot Pro feature, Intel Wireless WiFi 6 and Killer Ethernet E2600 prioritise network stability, bandwidth speed and usage. Of course, the trademark AeroBlade 3D Fan Technology is included as well to keep the gaming laptop cool while gaming. The Predator Helios 300 will be available from 2 August starting from RM4599 at every Acer online store and authorized resellers across the nation.
