Towards the end of April, Acer announced a new lineup of gaming laptops and that includes the Predator Helios Neo 16. Surprisingly, this gaming laptop is now available in Malaysia sooner than expected, retailing from RM4899.
Available immediately at Acer eStore and Acer official stores on Shopee and Lazada, orders placed for the new Predator Helios Neo 16 before 8 May 2023 at select concept stores will receive freebies worth more than RM900. These include a Predator Urban Gaming Backpack V2, a Predator Cestus 330 Gaming Mouse, a Predator Snapback Cap and an Acer SuperCare 2 that provides 3 years on-site warranty with accidental damage and theft coverage.
Revealed at the recent next@acer global press conference, here's a quick recap of the Predator Helios Neo 16 (PHN16-71-77HU and PHN16-71-54A6). It comes with the latest 13th Gen Intel Core HX processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with a Maximum Graphics Power of 140W, as well as up to 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD.
Running on its 165Hz 16-inch display, gamers have the option to choose either a WQXGA or WUXGA IPS panel mode. The screen panel has a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100% sRGB with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC supported. To keep the machine cool in the heat of a battle, Acer's custom-engineered AeroBlade fan technology and liquid metal thermal grease are improved to help cool the Predator Helios Neo 16 down.
