Today, Acer Predator has brought in three brand new impressive gaming beasts to our shores here in Malaysia which are the newly upgraded Acer Predator Triton 900, Acer Predator Helios 300 (2019) and the dual Acer Predator Nitro 7 and Nitro 5 (2019). Prices for the gaming laptops starts from RM3499, and as you know how gaming laptop prices are - it gets higher with other models.
Let's start with the highest spec device, the Predator Triton 900 features tech specs that include the Intel Core i7 processor, GTX2080 GPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD. What makes this laptop interesting is the Ezel Aero Hinge on the laptop which allows users to flip, extend and recline the 17.3-inch display any way they like, making the laptop more comfortable and convenient to use. There are four modes when moving the display around which are display mode for sharing screens with friends, Ezel mode for gaming on the touch screen, notebook mode for the usual gaming sessions and stand mode which turns the laptop into a tablet.
The trackpad also doubles as a number pad. Since its placed on the right side of the keyboard, it really feels like an actual number pad on your traditional full sized keyboard. On top of that, it won't be complete as it comes with a RGB mechanical keyboard with dedicated hotkeys, TURBO key and PredatorSense, and a PredatorSense for gamers to monitor or overclock via their mobile phones. Priced at RM15,999, it's bundled with a free gaming chair (fore real!), a 2-year local on-site + Accidental Damage/Theft warranty and available immediately at Acer official online stores and all Acer authorized resellers nationwide.
Next up is the Helios 300 which features a 144Hz display with impressive colour accuracy on its display. Tech specs wise, you’ll find the 9th gen Intel Core i7 processor and an Nvidia RTX2060 GPU. The laptop cleaned up pretty well, now with slimmer bezels than before so games can see more on its 15.6-inch 144Hz Full HD IPS display. Like the Triton 900, this bad boy has a 4-zone RGB keyboard, a Turbo button, PredatorSense, as well as a 4th Gen AeroBlade 3D Fan Technology.

The Helio 300 (2019) is coming in three variants at RM6799 (Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM), RM6199 (Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM) and RM5399 (Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM). The highest specs variant spec will be available next month in July at every Acer official online stores and all Acer authorized resellers nationwide, while the other two are availabel now.
Finally, Acer also revealed the new Nitro 5 and Nitro 7 (2019) models as affordable horsepower gaming laptop for the masses. The Nitro 7 (2019) is designed for those who seek the best in both design and performance, whereas the Nitro 5 (2019) will primarily focus on performance in either a 15.6-inch or 17.3-inch Full HD IPS display with narrow bezel design.
These new updated Nitro laptops are equipped with up to 144Hz displays and powered up by to the latest 9th Gen Intel Core i7 and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX1660Ti. Both the Nitro 7 and Nitro 5 also have 2x M.2 PCIe SSD slots and 2x DDR4 RAM slots that can take up to 32GB, as well as featuring dual fans with Acer CoolBoost technology.
Also available from now onwards like the rest of the gaming laptops, the Nitro 7 (2019) has two models based on different graphics for RM4899 NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650) and RM5199 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX1660Ti) respectively, while the Nitro 5 (2019) also has two models based on display size for RM3499 (15.6-inch) and RM4899 (17.3-inch) respectively.
