Yesterday, Acer held an event to unveil some new products. Among them were laptops, Chromebooks, monitors, and even a 4K projector. There are also some new Predator series devices, which includes one gaming desktop, two gaming projectors, and also a gaming desk!
As you may know, the Predator Orion series features powerful gaming desktop PCs. The latest Predator Orion 7000 packs a 12th Gen Intel Core CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080/3090 GPU, and up to 64GB of DDR5 (4000MHz) RAM. It also has 2x NVMe SSD slots that support up to 1TB each, as well as 2x slots for HDD of up to 3TB.

To ensure that there's enough cooling for these components, Acer used 2x 140mm Predator FrostBlade 2.0 front fans and 1x 120 mm Predator FrostBlade 2.0 rear fan. There's even an AIO liquid cooler for the CPU. It will also have excellent Internet and network speed thanks to its Intel Killer 2.5G Ethernet port and Intel WiFi 6E module.
Acer also unveiled the Predator GD711 yesterday, a 4K LED projector that covers 125% of the Rec. 709 colour gamut. Another model is the Predator GM712, a 4K lamp projector that features a throw ratio of 1.22. It allows you to project a 100-inch screen from just 2.7 metres, which can be convenient depending on your location.

In terms of features, both models deliver brightness levels, high dynamic contrast, and HDR10 support. They also come with Variable Refresh Rates (VRR), which can output your favourite games at up to 240Hz (PC) or 120Hz (console) at 1080p. Another feature is Game Mode that can let you enhance the contrast and dark levels in games.
Finally, there's the Predator Gaming Desk. This is a large 55-inch gaming desk that comes in a carbon fibre surface or custom-designed Predator mouse mat. It's not just a simple flat desk either, as it comes with various parts to store your accessories. This includes the headphone hook, cup holder, cutouts for cable management, a rack for devices like gamepads, and more.

Acer hasn't confirmed if and when these products would be available in Malaysia, but we did get the price list (refer to the table below). You could also visit the product web pages for more details.
